With slightly more than 30k mile on the clock, this pristine ’87 Trans AM GTA marks the first year that Pontiac introduced the “Grand Tourismo Americano” edition of the venerable Third-Gen Firebird platform. It was also the year that the band Guns N’ Roses’ released its debut album, “Appetite for Destruction,” for those looking to fully set the mood.
In addition to a 5.7L V8 with tuned port injection, the GTA had some “space-age” interior styling cues, 16″ Gold BBS-style wheels, and a specially-tuned WS6 suspension package.
This one is black on black cloth, and sports a set of Eibach lowering springs, new KYB shocks and struts, and a Flowmaster cat-back exhaust.
