Go ahead, make my day…one of only 2,200 built in 1993, this factory-turbocharged, Corvette-killing SUV with only 31,219 original miles was previously owned by actor Clint Eastwood
If you were around in the early 1990’s, then you know that these limited-production trucks (including the even rarer pickup version, the Syclone) were some of the fastest things on the street from 1991-1993 (in one famous Car and Driver test from that time, a Syclone easily shamed a Ferrari 348s). The “SyTy” Syclones and Typhoons pack the venerable 4.3-liter Vortec V6, paired with a Mitsubishi turbocharger and Garrett intercooler. Output was an impressive 280 HP and 369 LB FT of torque, enough to shred all four tires through the Borg Warner 35/65 torque-split all-wheel drive system.
This super-clean 1993 Typhoon is a California-Florida vehicle with only two previous owners, one of whom was the actor Clint Eastwood (see supporting documentation). It’s been driven less than 10,000 miles over past 15 years.
With only 31, 219 original miles, flawless original paint and interior, this Typhoon is completely OEM stock except for a new cat-back exhaust and a new replacement Mitsubishi turbo installed at a GMC dealership.
